Instructions:
After you have installed the Fax4Word add-in for Micorosft Word, open the Global Warming Letter Template in Microsoft Word and edit the message as you wish.
This template already contains
the various "merge fields" that will be automatically filled in with the
politician's title, name, and fax number. The template also contains fields
that will automatically fill in the address for the U.S. House or Senate
depending on the politician's title. Governors' addresses are simply displayed
as "(Via Fax)". The letter's
"date field" will automatically
update itself with today's date.
The "data source" or "contacts list" you will be using is this list of fax numbers and names for the Senators, Reps, and Governors.
